It was a recent hired kidnapping job in New York City that McHale crossed paths with deputized vigilantes Black Shadow and Johnny Rush, who became his hated enemies. McHale soon raised the ire of other (AGU) heroes including Superhawke and Dust Derringer. Soon crime syndicates and terrorist groups hire McHale for protection against some of (AGU's) crime fighters, superheroes, and other groups, which became some of McHale's personal favorite missions. Now McHale poses a dangerous threat to several (AGU) heroes, those who are occasionally target by him as a personal fringe benefit in his deadly assignments.

McHale prides himself in angering most of the (AGU) heroes why mostly injuring their colleagues and friends, sometimes near-fatally. He enjoys his assignments by either disbanding death and destruction in cover his tracks in some missions, while using covert tactics and quietly sneaking out from authorities in others. Although he lives a fast lifestyle of fast cars and faster women, he is secretly planning between jobs in how to outfox and outwit his adversaries with frightening precision.
