Pulsar's Twist of Fate

On a field trip to Kansas, Penny Polanski along with her co-workers were planning a survey of a piece of real estate requested by a farmer who lives back in Cornerstone City. Bill David, one of Penny’s supervisors, who is driving the SUV carrying her and two other co-workers, was finishing the pre-planning meeting when he turns on the radio. “I heard that this might be tornado season in these parts. Better check the radio.” The news report has held a tornado advisory warning happening in the Southern part of the state, near where Bill and Penny’s party are. “Well, if Lady Luck’s willing, nothing gonna happens to us.” said Bill. “I hope you're right, boss. I've gotta strange feeling that luck won’t be smiling at us soon” Penny replied.

Just in the Northeast of the road they were traveling, a frightening sight shock Bill and the group: a raging twister had been spotted and is heading west to an unsuspecting nearby town. Although half of the residents were evacuated, Penny secretly suspects that some of the townspeople are not safe from this twister. “ We've better take a left at the nearest intersection,” Bill said, “hopefully we’ll avoid getting caught in that twister”.

“Here, we'll stop by at this nearby gas station” Bill uttered, as the SUV pulls in. “Uh, Bill I've got to go to the bathroom, my bladder’s bothering me!” Penny unfastens her seatbelt and opens the left rear passengers car and walks wobbly toward the rear side of the station’s garage. “To the bathroom, at a time like this?” Bill replied, “Surely you can hold it a little longer… Penny?” Soon he lost her from his sight. “Well, you gotta go, then you gotta go.”

Penny arrived in the rear entrance at the garage. “No time to think. It’s time for Pulsar to make her entrance…” she thought and begin to spin very fast. “Pulsar Power Twirl!” Her body emitted a bright pink ball of light as she transforms into her alter ego, Pulsar Pureheart. Soon a streak of pink rippled above the sky as Pulsar flies into the path of the twister. She arrived just in time between it and its’ fateful destination.

“Alright, I’m in-between the tornado and the town. I've gotta time this right.” Pulsar thought, “If I spin in the opposite direction of the twister, it will hopefully cancels itself off. You can do this, girl.” Pulsar raises her arms and begun to spin rapidly in supersonic speeds, turning herself into another tornado. The two twisters begun to collide until each of them wrestled with one another, then suddenly the force with Pulsar’s counter-winds cancelled the twister until it quickly died down before it reached its’ intended path. The remaining townspeople cheered, believing it was a miracle. Pulsar wipes her forehead in relief. “Whew! That was a close one.” She waived to the cheering crowds below and flew black to the gas station.

Minutes later, Bill and his group were surprised at what they show. “I can't believe that there was another tornado that cancelled that sucker.” he said. “I dunno, boss,” one of the other co-workers replied, “That twister looked kinda… PINK.” The group were dumbfounded by that remark. Bill turns to the garage and found Penny exiting from the restroom. “Penny, how in blazes have you've emptied that bladder, I suspect you’ve been drinking too much of them fluids.” “Yeah, I guess I drank a WHOLE lot of ‘them fluids’. Hey what did I miss something?”
