Color refined rendition of Pam Resnick, Beta Blackheart's secret identity from "Pulsar Pureheart"

In her attempt to destroy her twin sister and arch nemesis Pulsar Pureheart, Beta Blackheart disguised herself as cub reporter Pamela Resnick and infiltrated The Cornerstone Watchman, one of the major newspapers from Cornerstone City, Florida, Pulsar's hometown and base of operations. She ends up as part of a news team which includes Kevin Kowalski, the newspaper's young photojournalist and Pulsar's boyfriend (as well as knowing her secret identity as Penny Polanski).

Pam uses her self-thought journalism know-how to try to discredit Pulsar in several character assassination stories to get the citizens turn against their defender heroine, though so far, for now, public opinion favors her saving the city. Pam knows about Kevin being rescued on several occasions by Pulsar, figuring out that he is her friend and confidant. She uses this as an advantage for psychological tormenting Pulsar by flirting with Kevin when they are not on assignment, much to his dismay and embarrassment.

When as opportunity comes, she spin-transforms into Beta Blackheart to wreck upon the city's people and bait Pulsar to another dangerous confrontation.
