Julie Sakazaki - refined

Julie Sakazaki was determined to save the family name, especially when their parents, Mariko Sakazaki, the head of a Japanese-based US Military contractor; and Daisuke Sakazaki, the chief supervisor and head designer of the Avatar project, are in the verge of divorce. Julie decided to join the Avatar project and spend more time with her father in hopes that he will not separate with Mariko. After months of intense training to pilot Daisuke's multi-billion dollar bipedal weapons known as Avatars, Julie was assigned to the US Military's top secret test pilot squadron Angel Arms to field test the Avatars at their remote base on Joharistan in Northern Africa.

It was later Julie's life would turn upside down when she met Matt Osaka, a hapless and clumsy Army water purifier who accidentally stumbled to their top secret facility. When Matt accidentally rested his head on Julie's breasts, the feisty test pilot got enraged and clobbered the poor young soldier into the sky with her patented "Julie Punch", leading up to a really bad day for Matt as he was chased by a horde of angry girls when he inadvertently entered the ladies' locker room. Trying to settle the dust, Daisuke invited Matt to stay for the night at the compound before he returned to his barracks the next day, much to the chagrin of Julie.

After an attack on the compound, Julie was about to go to her Avatar where she was dumfounded by a unlikely sight: a training model Avatar was exiting the hangar where the bipedal mechs are located and somehow repelled the attackers without causing a single fatality. Julie would later help out with the defense of the base. She was a little puzzled in who was the person who piloted the training Avatar and repelling the invaders, then was shocked that it was none other that Matt. Julie soon fainted. Later, as a reward for his unlikely "heroism", Daisuke was granted permission from Matt's superiors that Matt would be re-assigned to the Angel Arms squadron, which made Julie a little peeved. Thus began Matt and Julie's wild adventures on life in the compound where every time Julie saw Matt in his unnecessary perversness, she will make sure he gets his rear end kicked, and kicked hard.

Julie is hot-tempered and prone to violence. But beneath her hard-edge tomboyish exterior, she also has a softer and gentle side, even to the team's more younger members, as well as an overwhelming sense of honor and justice. Julie is comfortable hanging out with guys and usually plays sports with them but she doesn't have much dating experience (Granted, Julie sees Matt as a pervert in their first meeting but that not her total opinion towards men and she slowly grows to like him over time). She cannot stand Matt accidentally stumbling through the compound catching her and her teammates in their underwear, forcing Julie to inflict physical (slapstick) punishment on poor Matt. She loves her parents so much that she dedicated herself to visit them more in their separate jobs in hoping to keep them together. Julie believes in the importance of family and friends and keeps their values close to her heart. She also hates evil and is willing to defeat them whenever they strike fear and terror to the innocent. Her favorite hobby is karaoke singing and playing ping-pong. Her favorite food is instant ramen noodles with pork and carrots.

Julie is a gifted and talented Avatar pilot, well-taught by her father in studying the bipedal suit's various systems, functions and weapon platforms. She is active in local karate and kung fu tournaments, where she is a black belt on said disciplines and won several championships when she was 12. She is also an experienced professional wrestler, which is useful when she participates in local pro wrestling matches for extra money. She is a well-schooled scholar in subjects like mathematics, geography, law, and ancient cultures. She is also a highly-trained automobile, motorcycle and tank mechanic. She is an expert athlete, swimmer and diver. She is an expert in rifle marksmanship and is extensively trained in Close Quarters Combat. She is an expert motorcycle and water jet ski rider.
