character and title: color refined rendition of Haruka Helion/Hyper Starlet
from Hyper Starlet
Haruka Helion was a cadet for her galactic sector's law enforcement agency. On a routing patrol, she uncovered a sinister plot by a intergalactic crime syndicate to steal resources from a distant "non-interference" planet - Earth. She followed the trail for the mobsters to Earth but was hopelessly outnumbered and outgunned. After Helena Helion (Ultra Starlet)
, her older sister and former space cop turned bounty hunter, tailed and helped her foiled the syndicates plans, Haruka, donning the codename of Hyper Starlet, along with Helena decided to set up a post on Earth, disguised as a ordinary private detective agency, and to defend and protect its' citizens from further threats. She dons the disguise of Holly Madison, an seemingly average high school student in Cincinnati, Ohio where meets up with fellow high school student Mark Elfwood, who later learned her true identity and decided to help them as their closest ally and informant.
Haruka is a shy and naïve girl, but always professional when duty calls. She has a compassionate attitude towards Earth's people and has an overwhelming sense of justice. Since she has little experience as a cadet, she consults with Helena on advice of crime fighting. She also has a soft crush on Mark, but he is a little edgy on romance, for now their relationship is strictly friendly and workmanlike. Despite having a feminine side, Haruka has a hard-edged exterior and forceful demeanor toward evil. Her favorite hobby are repairing and maintaining her hover bike. No word on what her favorite (Earth) food is.
Haruka, along with her sister Helena, are from an alien race who received their powers by her body's core energy. Her green energy-based powers are generating and producing various types of objects and weapons that can be project from either her hands or eyes; these include makeshift bridges, shields, telescopes, gigantic hammers and mallets, long-range blaster rifles, energy lassos and light wave swords, as well as a green energy field for flight (even through space) and invulnerability. Her other powers including telepathy, telekinesis and sixth sense abilities. She also has telescopic and X-Ray vision. She also has superhuman reflexes when using her expandable glove bracelets to deflect bullets and projectile weapons. Although she has the ability to fly, she prefers to ride her space police-issue hover bike, which has capability to travel in hyper speed and is armed with plasma machine guns, beam cannons and proton torpedoes. She is a trained athlete and swimmer as well as experience in underwater diving. She is trained in alien and human-based martial arts techniques. When trouble arises or duty calls, she transforms into her cadet/superhero identity by spinning around in fast speeds, resulting in a bright flash.Inspirations/influences:
