Celeste LaFluer is an FBI agent working for a special division code named TRINITY, whose function is to investigate and contain paranormal activities. Abandoned as an infant and raised in an New York orphanage with a medallion left with her as a clue to her past, Celeste has self aware of her hidden powers when she was in high school when she confronted a supernatural entity known as a "Soul Eater". She later decided to utilize her talents and became one of the fastest rising stars in the FBI Academy. She was assigned to the Manhattan FBI office where she was immediately assigned to Task Force TRINITY where she met up with her two partners, former undercover agent Marcus LeBlanc and ex-US Marine Sophia Foster, both of whom have extraordinary supernatural abilities of their own. They would be later joined by ex-sorcerer and paranormal expert Mihaela Weingarten. As they investigate various cases around the country, Celeste soon find clues about her ancestors, the Twilight Mages, a races of powerful alien sorcerers who fought in an intergalactic war during the creation of the universe, or so the legend said. As remnants of the Mages' enemies resurfaced on Earth determined to hunt down the descendants, Celeste prepares to face her past demons and unwittingly becomes Earth's unknown savior, she still doing her job for the Bureau in cases involving the unknown.

She is kindhearted and loyal to her partners but remains serious and focused when on the job. Though she is notorious for being a hothead, especially in dangerous situations and occasionally stressed out after engaging ruthless entities in combat. Having no memory about her parents and has little clues to her ancestral heritage, Celeste is torn about serving her duty as an agent and being the unwilling secret protector of mankind against an unknown foe. Having nothing to lose, she is determined to fight for her life and her friends and is ready to sacrifice everything she holds dear to protect those she holds dear. Her favorite hobbies are performing in underground pop bands and shopping, her favorite food is classified.

Celeste is a trained and experienced agent, even is her age and position usually meant for a rookie in the bureau. She is well educated in criminal law and psychology. She is also educated in ancient myths, civilizations, and lost cultures. Her special powers include telepathy and limited telekinesis. With the power of her medallion her estranged mother gave to her, Celeste can transform into be a powerful armor-clad swordswoman, which has the abilities of super-speed, enhanced strength and superior fighting skills. With this Sword Warrior form, she has the ability to also transform into a mage sorceress, a techno-based ninja infiltrator, and a hi-tech weapons specialist. Her other abilities, starting in her warrior form though, includes generating transparent "angel"-like wings for limited flight and gliding through wind currents. She is trained in martial arts and law enforcement-based hand-to-hand combat and suspect takedown maneuvers. Her standard weapon as agent is a H&K USP Match 9mm pistol, modified by Bureau weapons scientists to allow firing "enchanted" ammunition (including powerful magic long beams and exorcism bullets). She has powerful magical spells and an expert in several hand-to-hand combat disciplines. She is skilled with swords and bladed weapons and also specializes in martial arts weapons like nunchunks and sai blades.
